Which biometric devices work with AIHR BD?+
Hikvision face terminals and ZKTeco fingerprint or face machines are supported directly, along with RFID card readers. Other devices can be connected through the local agent or the open API.
My device is on the office LAN. Can it still sync?+
Yes. Install the local agent on any always-on Windows PC on the same network and it pushes punches to the cloud. Devices reachable on a public IP with port forwarding can sync directly.
Can I enrol faces without touching the device?+
Yes. Upload employee photos once and push them to the device in bulk. The photo quality checker flags blurry, dark or badly cropped images before they fail on the machine.
What happens if the internet goes down?+
Devices keep logging locally and the punches are pulled in when the connection returns. Mobile check-ins are queued on the phone and synced automatically.
Does attendance feed into payroll automatically?+
Yes — present days, late marks, early-outs and overtime hours flow into the monthly payroll run and into the Labour Act overtime register.
